Stacked dipoles / dipole arrays

Skymasts stacked dipole arrays consist of arrays of folded dipoles cophased and positioned to produce a variety of both directional and omnidirectional radiation patterns.  Stacked dipole arrays provide a robust and reliable solution across many applications in the VHF and UHF band and are popular for PMR and TETRA systems.

Vertically stacked dipole arrays provide a directional pattern with a broad coverage area and can be reconfigured by the end user for omnidirectional operation; cardioid versions are available to provide exceptionally high front to back ratios, to alleviate interference or for coastal applications.  Electrical beamtilt of the vertical beam can be built in according to requirements.

Stacked dipole arrays for TETRA have been constructed with premium materials and advanced techniques to maximise reliability and PIM performance.
