Antarctic Exploration

Our expertise reached new heights when the British Antarctic Survey Team approached us to design and supply heavy-duty VHF antennas for their aircraft.  The antennas themselves had to be fitted to the underside of the main wings, which presented a significant challenge for the Skymasts installation team.  Happily, they were up to the task, and the airborne antennas have added a valuable new dimension to the work of the Survey Team.

Global International Airports

Skymasts 744 product is utilised and installed within virtually every International Airport throughout the world as a reference antenna for continual analysis of airborne communication systems.

Islands Coverage

The Islands of Jersey, Guernsey and the Isle of Man UHF telemetry systems are all supplied and operate with Skymasts antenna products. In addition to the UHF telemetry system on the Isle of Man, Skymasts had designed and supplied the entire Tetra antenna network in partnership with Simoco. The Jersey Telemetry system includes some specially fabricated antennas for covert applications and extreme harsh environmental conditions.

All in all, over 1000 antennas have been installed within these three Island telemetry systems, which continue to operate reliably to this day.
