Skymasts Provide complete Antenna Systems package for Edinburgh Tram

Skymasts have been chosen to provide all antennas for the new Edinburgh Tram Radio System; to include not only a specially developed low profile antenna that will be fitted to all of the trams, but also the main infrastructure antennas.

A specially developed derivative of the successful and well proven 403 multi-function antenna will be supplied for the trams, with special back to back phased dipole arrays and heavy duty omni-directional collinears being supplied for the main base station sites.

Two track-side self supporting towers will also be supplied and installed by Skymasts Installations team within the tram network with all other sites being installed upon existing or covert sites throughout the city.
