Today most Public Transport Systems use ever increasing amounts of technology, particularly in Communications.

Skymasts are heavily involved in this and more recently have secured the prime antenna  contract from Seimens VDO (now Continental ) for the London Bus project, designing and manufacturing a multi-systems antenna  for fitting to the roof of every Bus in London.

This antenna  incorporates VHF, TETRA/UHF, GSM900/1800, 3G/UMTS, GPS and WLAN elements.

Major projects such as this prove our capability in this sector and has led to many more enquiries and orders with other Bus and Tram Fleets, often in conjunction with Radio System providers.

Our flexible approach means we can tailor each product to the particular customers requirements.

As compliment to the  antennas for vehicle use we are able to offer our comprehensive range of Base Station Antennas and accessories, together with an installation service if desired as well as training schemes to assist with vehicle fit if needed.
